Recognizing the demand for affordable international calls, Chan’s entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of a network of dealerships selling international calling cards, laying the groundwork for his future journeys.
Enter iPay88
The internet’s growing significance led Chan to create a digital magazine, movile88.com. Recognizing the potential for online sales of prepaid cards, he conceptualized the idea of a payment gateway. In 2006, iPay88 was incorporated, marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of digital payments in Malaysia.
iPayy88’s strong presence in South Asia, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Bangladesh, and Singapore, underscores its commitment to creating a borderless payment ecosystem through strategic partnerships.
